Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using our website or engaging our services. By using the Bua Timepieces website or submitting a watch for service, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Definitions

• "Agreement" means these Terms and Conditions.
• "We", "us", "our" refers to Bua Timepieces, 67 Thanon Ratchadamnoen, Si Phum, Muang, Chiang Mai 50200, Thailand.
• "You", "client" refers to the individual using our website or engaging our services.
• "Services" means the watch repair, servicing, and restoration services offered by Bua Timepieces.
• "Watch" or "timepiece" means any item left in our care for servicing.
• "Website" means the website located at buatimepid.biz.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website or submitting a watch for service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy.

If you are submitting a watch on behalf of another person, you represent that you have the authority to do so and that the owner of the watch consents to our handling of it under these terms.

3. Services

Bua Timepieces offers three service tiers for watch repair and restoration:

• Gentle Care Service — battery replacement, gasket inspection, strap adjustment, and external cleaning (฿1,500)
• Full Movement Care — complete mechanical or quartz movement service including cleaning, lubrication, accuracy regulation, and seal inspection (฿5,500)
• Heirloom Restoration — comprehensive restoration for vintage and cherished mechanical pieces including full movement work, cosmetic attention, and parts sourcing where possible (฿9,600)

Services are delivered at our workshop in Chiang Mai, Thailand. We do not offer postal or remote servicing. We reserve the right to decline any work that falls outside our skills or resources, and we will advise you openly if this is the case.

4. Estimates & Pricing

4.1 Estimates

For Full Movement Care and Heirloom Restoration, a written estimate will be provided before any work begins. No significant work proceeds without your agreement to the estimated cost. For Gentle Care Service, pricing is as listed unless additional work is identified during inspection, in which case we will contact you before proceeding.

4.2 Payment

Payment is due in full upon collection of your watch. We accept Thai Baht (฿) by cash and bank transfer. Prices are stated inclusive of any applicable tax unless otherwise noted.

4.3 Uncollected Watches

If a watch is not collected within 60 days of completion notice, we will make reasonable efforts to contact you. After 90 days of non-collection and non-contact, we reserve the right to charge a storage fee. After 180 days, we may dispose of the watch in accordance with applicable Thai law after further notice.

5. Your Responsibilities

When submitting a watch to us, you agree to:

• Confirm that you are the owner of the watch or have authority to submit it for service
• Provide accurate information about the watch's history and condition to the best of your knowledge
• Collect the watch promptly once you are notified that work is complete
• Use our website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others

Prohibited uses of our website include: submitting false or misleading information; attempting to gain unauthorised access to any part of our systems; or using automated tools to scrape or harvest content.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, design, and layout — is the property of Bua Timepieces or its licensors. You may view and use the website for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content for commercial purposes without our written permission.

7. Watch Custody & Care

7.1 Duty of Care

We take reasonable and professional care of all watches entrusted to us. Watches are handled by trained staff and stored securely on our premises.

7.2 Parts and Components

Any parts removed during servicing will be retained and returned to you upon request unless they are worn-out consumable items (such as old lubricant, gaskets, or depleted batteries) that serve no practical purpose.

7.3 Pre-existing Condition

We inspect watches on receipt and note their condition. We are not liable for defects, damage, or deterioration that pre-existed the service. For vintage and heirloom pieces, we will discuss any concerns about fragility or condition before work begins.

7.4 Parts Availability

For older or rare watches, specific parts may not be available. We will advise you clearly if this affects the scope of work possible, and we will not proceed without your agreement.

8. Disclaimers

Our website and the information on it are provided in good faith but without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Watch repair and restoration involves a degree of professional judgement. While we apply our skills carefully, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes for every timepiece, particularly for aged or complex movements. We will discuss realistic expectations with you before work begins.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Thai law, Bua Timepieces shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or services.

Our total liability in connection with any watch servicing shall not exceed the amount paid by you for that specific service. This limitation does not apply in cases of gross negligence or wilful misconduct on our part.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bua Timepieces from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal costs) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misrepresentation of ownership of a watch, or your unlawful use of our website.

11. Termination

Either party may end a service engagement at any time before work has commenced. If work has begun, you will be responsible for any costs reasonably incurred up to that point. We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service at our discretion, with appropriate explanation.

12. Dispute Resolution

We hope to resolve any concerns directly and informally. If you have a concern, please contact us first at [email protected] so that we can try to find a resolution together.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally shall be submitted to the jurisdiction of the courts of Chiang Mai, Thailand.

13. General Provisions

• Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Bua Timepieces regarding use of our website and services.
• Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.
• Waiver: Failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
• Assignment: You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our consent.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of our website or services after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to provide notice.
